This is pure speculation for us.  Has any user complained
that the tab is confusing?  Or are we just assuming that
they will. IMO admins are responsible for their users.
If an admin thinks it will be confusing for his or her
user base, then it can be disabled locally.

I think the original change in default was trying to
expose more admins to MS-DFS and avoid the necessary
reboots when first enabling dfs support.

I'm not guaranteeing that I'm right, but I am not
changing this for 3.0.23.  Perhaps the best thing to do
is to have this discussion again after 3.0.23 has been
out for a while so we can see how people actually react.
