Hello *,

yesterday we've upgraded to 3.0.21b because there have been lots of
problems with 3.0.21a in the oplock code.

Now 3.0.21b running on a Linux 2.4.21 Suse Enterprise Kernel logs the
entries listet below. The files reside on an ext3 Filesystem. kernel
oplocking is used. The client PCs are WinXP SP1. Mostly files from Excel
and Lotus Notes are hit by this problem.

Is the use of kernel oplocks ok for kernel 2.4.21?

Which information is needed to investigate this problem?

regards Thomas
