Ok deadlock avoidence means a logic bug, not a kernel oplock
bug. Firstly, are you *sure* you're replaced the 3.0.21a smbd
on the system (this was one of the problems we released 3.0.21b
for). Secondly I need to see debug level 10 logs, split out by
client name of a case tht reproduces this.
