XP Pro is certainly considered "modern".  ("modern" in this regard really
means NT and later.)

Please post a new bug in bugzilla.  Be sure to mark it as a "libsmbclient"
bug, and attach a raw packet dump to the bug, generated with a command similar
to:

  tcpdump -s 0 -w /var/tmp/times_bug.pcap

Be sure that the packet dump includes the requests and responses to set the
times, and your requests and responses when retrieving the times after it was
set.  I'll take a look to see if there's a problem someplace.
