Hello everyone,

Due to old server hard drive trouble I had to start a new server, I've
installed everything according to this guide located here :
http://www.linuxhelp.ca/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=15&t=3823&s=422cd2725f24f6a91b33c80020d38110 .
I've copied the backup passwd.tdb and secrets.tdb file to /etc/samba/
directory.

Set the sid to the old one, using the net setlocalsid, doublechecked it, it
is correct.
Then I did a net groupmap list | sort which gave me the following result :

[root at frodo samba]# net groupmap list | sort
Account Operators (S-1-5-32-548) -> -1
Administrators (S-1-5-32-544) -> -1
Backup Operators (S-1-5-32-551) -> -1
Domain Admins (S-1-5-21-4026663590-1589568591-1594268601-512) -> root
Domain Guests (S-1-5-21-4026663590-1589568591-1594268601-514) -> nobody
Domain Users (S-1-5-21-4026663590-1589568591-1594268601-513) -> users
Guests (S-1-5-32-546) -> -1
Power Users (S-1-5-32-547) -> -1
Print Operators (S-1-5-32-550) -> -1
Replicators (S-1-5-32-552) -> -1
System Operators (S-1-5-32-549) -> -1
Users (S-1-5-32-545) -> -1

I suppose this looks okay, and according to guide is correct.

The next thing is what I will paste is my complete smb config (or almost
complete, I wont paste the shares here, since they only take up place, and
have nothing to do with my problem)

My problem is from a Windows 2000 Server Compute (SP4) installed , worked
flawlesly previously is :

usrmgr.exe on clicking on user properties, or adding user, or trying to
modify anything at all
returns a "The specified procedure could not be found" error message.

>From a Windows XP PRO (sp2) the usrmgr.exe allows me to execute the addnew
user
dialog box, but I cannot modify any existing users , it gives me the "Access
Denied" error.

tdbedit -L returns the following

[root at frodo root]# pdbedit -L
