Kalim,

Here's some thoughts to get us started on the new smbclient.

First off, the success criterea will be how well the new
implementation matches all of the existing CIFS functionality
in the current smbclient.  So what I think would be a good
place to get started would be to identify any missing
functionality in libsmbclient that will be required here.
You might want to talk a look at examples/libsmbclient/
for hints.

I expect that it will be easiest to just use existing
command line parsing from client/client.c, ifdef the existing
function table out , and then add in each operation (one by one).

Think you could have some ideas back to by Monday ?
