You may find it useful to look at the socket:testnonblock option in
Samba4 for these type of partial read/write tests. 

By enabling that option every socket read will randomly return short
and every socket write will randomly send only part of the data. That
allows generic testing of the partial packet problem in all protocols,
not just RPC.
