Problem with deleting files with long filenames from samba share

A little more info on the filenames.  In more research, 8.3 and longer
works, it is actually the format used.

If the filename is not unique for the first 6 charaters, it fails, if the
filename is 8.3 or longer, but only if there are enough to start causing
duplicate short filenames.

example:
