Adding ACEs via Win2k against a HEAD domain member broken?

Hi list:

Adding ACEs with Win2k against a HEAD ADS domain member is broken for me.
The error I get is "Object Picker cannot open because it cannot determine
whether SAMBASERVER is joined to a domain". I get the same problem when the
samba server is a member of an NT4 domain.

Has anybody else seen this?

relevant log.smbd is attached.
