locating NETBIOS name of domain in a win2k domain

Weren't you asking about locating the netbios name of the 
domain in a win2k domain ?  Or was this of a machine ?
If the former, then look at the DsRoleGetPrimaryDomainInformation()
Win32 call.  I'll have the client side coded up today if it 
is any help to you.
