I think the sam-solutions people are also working in that area.

I'm not really sure a wizard can help that much here... (as this bit
doesn't change the config file.  There are other changes however...)

But I agree with jra's suggestion that we should just detect the 'no
smbpasswd and we need one' stage and just not start the deamon at all,
leaving load message on console.  The tricky bit is figuring out when
that is the case...

That will be good to see.  I just want to see some movement here - or
else a release will never happen.
