How can you tell if a node is a WINS server ...

Hi,

I am looking for a way from within a script to tell if a node is a WINS 
server.

Doing something like 'nmblookup -A <ip.address>' is ambiguous, and even 
asking the node to translate its own name is ambiguous.

It seems like you need to ask it to translate a name that a non-WINS 
server would not normally have?
