corrupt sessionid.tdb

Hi!

- From time to time at a customer's site the sessionid.tdb seems to be
corrupt. Using tdbtool, dump says it's empty,
insert/store/fetch/whatever fail. What can I do to diagnose this?

Samba-2.2.4, Linux 2.4.18, tdb on ext3. The system has to handle
300-400 users.
