You can rename or take out that option; as I mentioned in the e-mail I
just sent out a few minutes ago, the root of my problem turned out to be
hardware data corruption which is causing the symptom that a client went
dead in the middle of a data transfer. I think you should look into using
reads with timeouts as the default in a future version of Samba, it's not
really a FreeBSD related problem.
