It would be nice to have it independent of endianness. Then people could
use it for migrating from one platform to another. It's probably pretty
rare for people to do this, but you never know.

dunno. tdbtool will export {name, data blob} tuple.
yep, the export will be endian dependant. Is that a big problem ?
