Development of a deistribution specifical aimd at instalation as a SMB server

We would like to inform the smaba team that we are in the process of developing a new distribution of linux (called Hippo Linux) with the aim of a simple method of deploying SMB based services without the use of MS based servers. It will include our own applications with both linux server side code and windows front end, to automate server managment. The main server based system will be provided by smbd, and nmbd from your own team. The code will not be changed, and will be provided as with any other distribution, but will include aditional documentation based on a person with little or no experience deploying a windows network as a small to mediaum sized solution

We would apreciate any comments you have on this.
