Quickbooks Pro and Samba 2.2.2 corruption

I'm having a few issues with my file and print server running Openlinux 
3.1.1 and Samba 2.2.2 with Windows 2000 clients and 4 users using 
Quickbooks Pro 2001.

I'm getting occasional corruptions in the database. I have oplocks 
turned off when is what Quickbooks support says must be turned off.

Anyone else using a samba server like this that has simular problems or 
had problems and fixed them?
