Errors compiling latest CVS on Solaris 8

Sorry it's taken a while to respond ... I've been on vacation.

I assume that I do (need --with-nisplus)  ... we (unfortunately) use NIS+.
In the past we've relied on a NIS+ server running in YP compatability mode.
It would be preferable to use NIS+ directly.
