In Samba 2.0.7 I put forward a fix to get DOS semantics on changing DOS 
attribute bits. This was basically code nicked from the file_utime() 
function in smbd/dosmode.c. This mod found it's way onto 2.2.0, but does 
not work!

I had to back out from that upgrade quickly!

The section of code in 2.0.7 I changed looks different in 2.2.0 and I 
can't figure out how to patch 2.2.0 in the same way as I did the 2.0.7 
code.

To keep this email short I won't start sticking on bits of code. Instead, 
if you are someone who knows how smbd/dosmode.c ticks can we discuss this 
and see if there is a fix.
