problem with login script

Hello!

I tried to ask this question is samba at samba.org.
But I have no replies.

I have following problem with samba 2.2.2 domain -
some users can't login into domain from win98se workstations,
because win98 can't correctly execute login script.
It loops at some .bat with name corresponding to user name from drive z:.
For instance user name is  shemyakina.  In this case win98 tries to
execute

Z:\SHEMY~EP.BAT

It says that no access to this file and do it again and again (i.e. in 
loop).

I have debug level =10 log, but can't see any problems. Only place
with

SHEMY~EP.BAT

is

But such users can enter into samba 2.0 domain with almost the same 
configuration with no problems
from the same computer.

More strange thing is that it is possible to login into domain from some 
computers with the same win98se
with no problems.
I understand nothing :(
And need help.
