I'm giving up... after spending hours of build-attempts on a old system with
about 300 megs i changed to another dev-station - but surprise: build with
configure.developer it didn't segfault any more. But it was still not working
(ERRpipe).
Changing back to the older system i finally managed to build .developer and
see, it segfaulted - without leaving any core on the hole damn system.
I'm out. The efforts getting winbind running are staying out and before
investing a lot of more time in a not even partially running system i'll check
out other methods of identification.
Thanks go out to Tim Potter and Gerald Carter for trying to help me!
cu, Thorsten.
