5/4 2.2.0 CVS - Printer status from win2k?

Running 5/4 2.2.0 CVS samba on Linux 2.2.18 with win2k client.

Printing OK from printcap listed printers w/BSD style commands.

Printer status won't display on win2k unless user is listed as printer admin in smb.conf .

After adding "printer admin = user", status is always "opening", even if queue is disabled on the
server.

I see correct info in printing.tdb "STATUS/ljp6  warning: ljp6 queue is turned off".

Same client accessing Samba 2.0.5a shows "Ready" status or "Paused" appropriately.

Known issue?
