Just a note on the virtual filesystem stuff from our friends at Network
Engines. The FiST stackable filsystem works on Linux and some BSD
variants.

Found it...check out the article on security through stackable file systems.
Lots of good, interesting stuff here. We may end up working with Posix ACLs,
but this is another option.
