Shutdown problem

Dear Sir,

  I have installed a smb in my red hat linux 7.0 server, with win98
workstation. When i use a command <shutdown -k now "Please logout from
server"> to ask my users logout from the server, it won't prompt the
warning message in win98 workstation, is there any way i can send the
warning message from server? please email back to me at
darick_ang at yahoo.com.sg, if you are willing to show me the way.
