See which of the following symbols is not defined in include/config.h:
HAVE_LDAP and HAVE_KRB5

Your config.log should help you figure out where one of these is not being
defined...there are various reasons, but I suspect something to do with the
ldap piece, as it is more complicated.  I had several rounds with that
piece, but was eventually able to get past it (plus an update Tridge made
to configure to properly check for and link in the liblber library during
configure time).
