SAMBA AND UNIX MPRAS NCR

Hi,

I try to compile samba 2.0.3 on my unix MPRAS v3.02.00 an I get the following error message after running 'configure'

checking if large file support cand be enabled -> no

checking configure summary
ERROR: No locking available. Running samba would be unsafe. Configure: error: summary failure. Abort config.

What can be the problem?
Is there any way to get out of it?
Is there any binary already available to UNIX MPRAS v3.02
