abnormal behaviour of samba

 Hi All

     When I am logging from NT4.0 the samba server is accepting the unix
user
 name for logging and not the Samba(NT) User name that I have given when I
am
 creating user. What might the problem for this strange behaviour.?


 (But the password is the smbpasswd that I have given while creating smb
 user...)
plese some one could give info, what to do?
