FYI this is a samba at question not a samba-technical@ question.
Because it has nothing to do with Samba *development* per se.

It looks like you have not joined your NT domain.  For two reasons.
One, the file should have been created when you
did, and two, I don't think you can name an NT domain with a '.' in it
like ''.

That is your machine trust account password with your primary domain
controller.  Follow the directions in DOMAIN_MEMBER.txt for how to join 
a domain properly.
