more then 12 chars in Sahre name

Hi,
I m having problem accessing sahre from NT if share name have more then
12 chars in it.
The error is "The network name cannot be found". Accessing the share
from Win2K and from smbclient giving me no problem.
Is this known behaviour or do i have to do some extra stuff on NT/Samba
side.
Using samba 2.0.6 and linux kernel 2.2.14 on intel platform
