ok, i don't really care what the api is as long as the security descriptor
is left as-is as part of the api.  there should be some "munging" routines
that assist turning SDs into unix-style ACLs, but these "helper" routines
should be used on the _other_ side of the API... IF the
instance-implementation requires it.  which a linux-ntfs driver would
certainly not: the SD goes straight to disk.

blame digital equipment corporation and the vax / vms team, not the nt
development team. :-)
