I use the same version.  IMHO if a program won't compile under GCC
2.7.2.3 it is
buggy anyway - most people have this version.

Mine gave up because I didn't have a special patch in the kernel, and I
stopped
there - there *must* be a simpler solution that doesn't involve patching
everything
in sight.

I'm going to need this functionality at some point so it is something
that I'm actively
thinking about...
