thanks for your glibc feedback, yes we'd really appreciate patches (diff
-u) for each of these issues you've come up against.  to
samba-bugs at samba.org then i suggest that you send the PR# number to
samba-technical so we know it's there (several thousand messages in
samba-bugs).

p.s redhat did a security audit of the various packages recently, they
said
doing samba was really easy because of the use of safe_strcpy etc.
