tcpdump SMB patch

Tridge (or anyone),

Looking at the files included in the tcpdump tarball from
http://www.tcpdump.org, it appears that the smb extensions
have been absorbed into the main distribution. Rather
than assume this is official, what is the relationship
between the tcpdump-smb patch on samba.org and the
distribution from tcpdump.org?

In other words, should be be pointing people to
tcpdump.org for the sniffer? or still get it from samba.org?

Cheers,
jerry
