So Luke, is this a fix, a *removal* of a fix or what ?

A little context for such zen-like outpourings of
code would be good. ie. Are you going to check
this into the tree ? Do you want me to ?

What does this email *mean* - *talk* to me !

(I am pretty sure I know what you are meaning to
fix here, but confirmation would be nice, especially
with the tree branch looming :-) :-).
