configure.in 2.0.0 Beta 3 (rev 1.96) problem

Hi All:

configure script fails on Linux i386 Redhat 5.2 when linking conftest
with PAM libs. I modified configure.in to move -lpam to the head
of LIBS which fixed it (unresolveds in dl library). This caused
failure during test suite checks, although (at least) the check
for readline in -lreadline failed.

P.S. I don't have write privs to cvs so perhaps someone could make
this mod (assuming it doesn't break other OSs!).
