smbpasswd -a problem

Luke -

I went ahead and updated my CVS code, but now smbd is broke!  I didn't
have any build/compile errors, but smbclient returns this:

twinders> smbclient -L barney
Added interface ip=206.76.17.2 bcast=206.76.17.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Added interface ip=206.76.20.2 bcast=206.76.20.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Added interface ip=206.76.21.2 bcast=206.76.21.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Added interface ip=206.76.22.2 bcast=206.76.22.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Got a positive name query response from 127.0.0.1 ( 206.76.20.2
206.76.17.2 206.76.21.2 206.76.22.2 )
session request to BARNEY failed
Got a positive name query response from 127.0.0.1 ( 206.76.20.2
206.76.17.2 206.
76.21.2 206.76.22.2 )
session request to *SMBSERVER failed

And Win95 returns "an extended error has occurred."  I quickly replaced
the smbd file, so I don't have any more information for you, but I can put
it back and get some more info if you can tell me what you want!
