Network Places

Good Morning All,
I have a samba pdc up, and working just fine with W2k machines as members of the domain. I only have one problem, users keep asking if they can create a network place instead of just mapping a drive letter. The ability  to create a network place does not seem to work. Has anyone else had this problem?
