Samba 2.2 alpha3 released

One thing I noticed going from 2.0.7 to alpha 2.2.0a2 and a3 is that quicken
2000 will no longer back up to a samba share.  How can I troubleshoot this?
It creates a .tst file, and then tells me it cannot access the drive.
