user list on clients

Hello, world
i had a problem with receiving the user list. On my Win2k client i get the
list for shares from my suse 7.0 PDC.
But not on Win98-Clients. I get the message: The user list is not available
at the moment and i should do it later.
Another problem is that is only could open my home-dir from win2k and not
from win98
The user scipt works fine with samba2.2-alpha2.
Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance
