How should I get the W2k support in a production environment?

You could try Microsoft's Windows Services for Unix.

It includes NIS->active directory, NFS, 2-way password syncing utils.

I haven't used it yet, its on my todo list though.

Since I need a win2k solutions right now, this looks to be one of my only
choices.
