Samba NT PDC problem.

1. By resources, you mean files and printers only (of course) ?
If that's it, then this is one of the basic functionality in Samba ...

2. "sharing of resources by users amongst themselves"
Can you describe it more precisely ? Especially: amongst themselves
Maybe some example ...

Hi All,

I am trying to configure Samba 2.0.7 on Redhat 6.2 as PDC for our
domain. I am aware that PDC is not fully supported but I do not want full
functionality.

All I want is:
- logon for users.
- ability to change passwords by users from their NT workstations
- sharing of resources by users amongst themselves.

Any idea if all these functionalities can be achieved?

I could get logons working perfectly fine.
I could not introduce new file shares on the clients. Is it because 2.0.7
does not support the functionality or there is some configuration problem?

Can someone please guide me regarding this?
