Sorry, this is not clear. Do you mean just to add 2 statements to my 
[global] section? These refer to my Win98 computer of course. What disk do 
I put in place of your 'E:'? And what did you mean that you have no 
'profile directories on our server drive'? Sorry for the dumb questions...
