Hey,
I'm trying to use samedit to change passwords through a script. The
script look like this.
 samedit -S$SAMBASERVER -Uroot%xxxxxx -c $com
where com='samuserset '$username' -p'$newpassword
In this case samedit thinks the -p is meant for it and not for
samuserset and fails. Samedit claims that the commnad should be `
surrounded not '. But of course shell doesn't like `. And escapeing them
doesn't seem to work. Has anyone gotten this to work properly.
thanks Joseph
