remote samedit password change

HEy,
    I'm running samba-tng alpha 2.6. I havwe established a domain and
added users. When I try to run samedit remotely as anyone but root and
update the connecting users password with samuserset it fails. This
works on the samba server but not on any other machine. I set up a trust
account for the connecting machine but this made no diffrence. Does
anyone have any ideas?
