Help:adding Linux host to NT network

I have a Linux host (Red Hat 6.2) whith samba 2.07.3.
I like to added my host in a NT network. What I must do?
I'm not an expert of linux. Which are the steps in order to shape correctly
samba?
You can send me an example of smb.conf, please?
