NT PDC /and/ fileserving on the same Unix machine?

Assuming that you are logging in as a local user, you may need to
prepend the domain name followed by a backslash to the username you
give the Samba server, e.g. DOMAIN\username.  I have a vague memory of
needing to do this when installing software from our app server while
logged in a local Administrator.  Or else TNG is broken.  I no longer
have access to an NT Workstation, so I can't check this.
