That way it won't work. Either you setup Win98 to send unencrypted
passwords (argggh, the worst way regarding future enhancements with NT
f.e.) or you setup "encrypt passwords=yes" and setup every user in your
/..../smbpasswd file.
> passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd
> passwd chat = *password\* %n\n *password* %n\n *successfull*
Using encryption, of course, the "passwd program" would have to be changed
(i.e. "/usr/bin/passwd %u").
