Ok, now I cann't log in at all. I enter username: dan, password: <linux PW>

and it says that my password is incorrect or access to the domain has been
denied. Here's my smb.conf if it helps (and I know the encrypt passwords
is turned off. I also installed the plain text passwords registry patch on
the 98 machine. If necessary both can be altered)
