I'm amused :-) Chances are there is a pointer being accidentally printed out
there which has slightly changed since I added code.

In reality the problem has nothing to do with what I just changed. I'm not sure
what is going wrong for you, but I doubt that it is correct behaviour to print
garbage or coredump regardless of how you set Samba up! I will look into it
later today.
