[Samba-it] mount directory remota

Buongiorno a tutti, ho un problema con il mount di una directory remota.
Il server che gestisce la condivisione samba è un server Linux Red HAt
PowerPC con kernel 2.4.21-40.EL e versione di samba 3.0.6-2.3E. Eseguo
il mount da un client Linux Ubuntu con il comando "mount -t smbfs
//xxx.xxx.xxx.yyy/share_samba /percorso/mount -o
username=root,password=******. Il comando restituisce il warning
"namecache_shutdown: Couldn't close namecache on top of gencache", ma
riesce comunque a montare la dir. Dopo un arco temporale, che varia da
alcuni giorni a una settimana massimo, con il comando df dal client non
si riesce più a vedere i dettagli della dir remota e non si riesce
nemmeno a fare l'umount, che restituisce "umount: /percorso/mount:
device occupato". Il comando fuser -k /percorso/mount restituisce invece
l'errore "Cannot stat /percorso/mount: Input/output error". Avete
qualche idea? Se necessario posso postare smb.conf. Grazie a tutti e
